In 1970 I was going to go to school in the medical field until the elders talked me out if it because in 1975 the great tribulation would happen and we wont need doctors and hospitals. 50 years later still no great tribulation. The Watchtower Society needs to be taken d down.

by Simon insomething just struck me.. is the wts the only religion that won't kick people out for abusing children, but would kick you out for visiting a website that informs you that the wts won't kick people out for abusing children .... it really shows where their sensibilities lie.
they are more interested in acting as gatekeepers to information, especially information about them, than providing basic levels of protection to the children of their members.. maybe someone with a better turn of phrase can shorten it, it might make a good meme - something short and simple that really makes people think:.
"the wts - tougher on those who read reports of jw child abuse than on jws who conduct child abuse".

Very happy young drum player

for some strange reason, i thought of how his life would change if his parents studied with the jdubs and became witnesses.
i could see how the boy's life would change.

For some strange reason, I thought of how his life would change if his parents studied with the JDubs and became Witnesses. I could see how the boy's life would change. It would not take long for his drum playing and his selection of music that he listened to and enjoyed to be tamped down. His future would be drastically changed and the joy that he now has would just become a memory of how things used to be before the JDub brainwashing.
Being a JDub when I was his age took my happiness away due to being different in school as I could not eat the birthday cake and cookies when my school mates celebrated. I could not color turkeys or Santa Clause or Christmas trees. I was different and made fun of. I hated being a JDub and being different. Being a JDub took away the happiness that children need.

JDubs will take parts of blood but not when all of the parts are put together. It is like they will eat peaches, flour, butter, sugar, salt, and cinnamon but not when they are all put together to make a peach pie. It is just so stupid. I wish that they could think for themselves. They let the 8 popes control their lives.

How can you have a personal relationship with someone you can't see and doesn't talk to you? The Witlesses are always talking about what makes Jehovah happy and sad. They can't see his face or hear his voice to determine if he is happy or said. How arrogant to think that they can affect the Univeral Sovereign.
The name Jehovah is not even mentioned in the Greek scriptures. If anything God would be upset with how the JDubs say his name (which may not even be correct). He is our Father. I would never have called my father by his personal name.
The JDubs think they are so special as they look down their noses at worldly people. They can't see that they are in a cult that the Father has no use for.
